Does anyone still enjoy poet Archibald MacLeish (1892-1982)? This American poet and playwright won 3 Pulitzer Prizes and was Librarian of Congress. There he was first to appoint a United States Poet Laureate, a tradition which continues. Taught at Amherst College for several years in the 1960's. We have half a shelf of his works that I have just dusted off.
